This fundraising is generated from the charitable incentive donation from Leeds Building Society’s Annual General Meeting. Leeds Building Society donated 10p for every postal vote received and 20p for every internet vote. Members selected which partner charity they wanted to receive the donation from their vote.
A delegation from the Leeds Building Society Epsom branch recently paid a visit to make the cheque presentation, for the £1,500 donation, to the Panda House at Godalming in Surrey.
Susan Hurst, Leeds Building Society’s Epsom branch manager said, "It was a great opportunity to visit WWF-UK and hear what the £1,500 donation, made on behalf of our members, will go towards."
Kerrina Thorogood, from WWF's Business Engagement team said, "We are delighted to receive these funds from Leeds Building Society in association with their member voting incentive."
