Leeds offers schoolchildren the chance to design its official Christmas card
Leeds Building Society has launched an exciting competition for schoolchildren across the UK, aged between four and eleven years old, to design its official Christmas card and win £500 for their school. Furthermore, each regional winner wins £50 for school funds and has £20 invested for them in a savings account.
Kim Rebecchi, Leeds Building Society’s Sales and Marketing Director said, "This competition offers schoolchildren a terrific incentive to win a high profile and prestigious competition. Our official Christmas card is sent out to all our key business, charity and community contacts throughout the UK.

"We recognise that children have the freedom to be very creative, and are known to produce some truly original ideas. They now have the opportunity to gain some recognition and reward for both themselves and their school. All children love getting involved in Christmas and Leeds Building Society is giving them the opportunity to do so early and really get in the spirit leading up to the festive season.
"The Society is also encouraging children to save, with each Branch winner having £20 invested into a new savings account for the child. The national winner receives £500 for funds at their local school, with the runner up receiving £100 in funds for their school. They also have the chance to get some Christmas presents in early by receiving £50 and £25 in High Street vouchers respectively.
"The judges, consisting of senior staff at the Society, are looking forward to viewing all the entries."
