However, if for any reason we cannot satisfy all of your requirements, we will explain why and provide you with enough information for you to make an informed choice about your travel insurance. Travel Insurance Plans: We offer three plans so you can cover yourself, you and your partner or you and your family. Individual cover – You can travel abroad as many times as you like in a year. The policy also provides cover for trips in the UK where overnight accommodation has been pre-booked. Cover for a couple – If you and your partner (two individuals living at the same address as a couple) take out a policy together, you’ll make savings on your individual insurances. You can travel either separately or together. Remember that most other insurance companies would charge you double the price of individual cover - we don't! Cover for the whole family – Our family package covers you, a partner and all children under 21 years of age still living at your home. You don’t always have to travel together either – you and your children are also covered individually when travelling alone. Maximum Age Limits – Travel policy cover is available for people aged up to and including 64 years old at the start date of the policy. Special arrangements can be made for those over 65 - please call 0870 602 4816 quoting ref: 082 for details of single-trip cover. How can I pay? There are three convenient ways to pay:
When does cover begin? The policy starts when we have received your completed application form and the premium (or direct debit instruction form). Annual Travel policies are renewed 12 months from the start date. Cancellation cover starts from the date you book your trip, or the start date of the policy (whichever is the later). Cover under all other sections starts when you begin your trip and ends when you return home from that trip. The trip start and finish dates must fall within the 12 month period of insurance, to ensure full cover throughout your trip. If you have any queries regarding the period of cover, please contact the Travel Unit on 0870 602 4816 quoting ref: 082.
