Leeds Building Society Job Title: Financial Planning Manager Band: Negotiable Department: Sales Reports to: Area Manager/Team Leader / Operations Manager Main purpose of job To achieve individual sales targets through leads generated by the branch staff across the field of regulated products. To act with due diligence and care and to represent both LFS Ltd. and LBS in a fit and proper manner with utmost professionalism. To maintain Key Performance Indicators in line with regulatory requirements. To attend all necessary training and achieve Competency with in the regulators guidelines. Reporting Structure You will be responsible to your Area Manager/Team Leader and in his/her absence report directly to the Operations Manager. In the absence of either you will report to the Head of Financial Services. If necessary, "locum" arrangements will be made and you will be notified accordingly in such an event. You will be expected to work closely and liaise with the Branch Manager. Hours of Work You will be expected to be flexible in your approach and to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and be available for consultations on a Saturday and occasionally evenings. Business Development You will be expected to maximise the opportunities for business by; Developing the leads provided by the branch team. Training & Development Matters You will be required to attend all relevant training as required by Norwich Union in order for you to fulfill your role of Financial Planning Manager. You will be responsible for your own Compliance issues and be expected to maintain your KPI’s in accordance with company requirements. In accordance with "Developing Excellence" your line manager will do all within his powers to ensure your personal development is maintained and that you will be given opportunities to develop your career further with the Company. You will be expected to attend the Branch Training session on a regular basis and have positive input into that session. Administration and Selling Practices You will be expected to update all relevant literature as and when required by Norwich Union and the Society. To present information to customers in a clear, precise and understandable manner. Carry out your role as Financial Planning Manager in accordance with the Norwich Union Selling Practices. Provide cover for your Financial Planning Manager colleagues in the event of sickness or extended leave at their place of work. To maintain accurate records at all times and to ensure that in your absence, those records are kept secure and confidential. Be aware of the "complaints procedure" in accordance with the regulators guidelines.
